My Toy Fox Terrier Ate A Pear, Will It Get Hurt?
She will probably have some diarrhea, and maybe even some vomiting. Pear is not toxic, but it probably will cause some gastric upset.
Reply:Like others have said, it should be harmless, but may cause some diarrhea. Chocolate, onions, and garlic are toxic...for some reason, I think grapes are too. Stick to dog food.
Reply:It probaly wont. I feed my Australian Shepard all kinds of fruits. But beware: tomatoes are poisonous.
Reply:A pear should be relatively harmless, most fruits are. Just watch her, and don't be surprised if she gets a little diahrrera...her body won't be used to the pear. To my knowledge, though, pears aren't poisonous to animals.
Reply:I think she will be fine..she might have a little tummy upset...I used to have a Boston Terrier that loved watermelon and it did not bother her at all when she ate it......
Reply:She might get the runs but otherwise she should be okay. As fruits go, it's grapes/raisins that are REALLY bad news for dogs so don't let her anywhere near them!
Reply:No worries, pears will not harm dogs. It's best not to give them anything besides food that is designed for animals, but like I said, you're in the clear!
Reply:Pears are fine. People who make their own dog food feed them things like carrots, peaches, pears, etc. Onions and chocolate are poisonous, but not pears. I feed my dogs apple chunks all the time. Dogs are actually not complete carnivores. Don't stress.
Reply:yes she will b fine. lots of peoples dogs eat pears including my 3m dogs. and your dog mostly gets dieareahha from meat. and if u r not completly satisfied then take her 2 the vet
