Fetilizer for apple and pear trees?

Hi, i have 2 apple and 1 pear trees. They have been planted for around 12 months. can you tell me what fertilizer i can use to encourage them the produce good fruit.

If the tree is a year old, you can apply 1 lb of a balanced fertilizer, 12-12-12, under the drip line of the tree canopy of each tree. You don't want a fruit crop for the first two years or you can stunt the tree's growth, so you should remove any fruit. The first two years are important for the tree to develop strong branches.



Fruit trees can be a lot of work - lots of spraying if you want perfect fruit. Good luck.
