I heard it's somewhere on the 14, but I can't find it anywhere. Wanted to go there to watch shooting stars.
How far is Pear Blossom away from the San Fernando Valley?
Pear Blossom is in eastern LA county near Lancaster and is served by Metrolink trains %26amp; AVTA buses from the San Fernando Valley and LA. Keep in mind that LA county is one of the largest counties in the nation and the distance is over 65 miles from the SF valley along the 14 freeway. Not really that great of an area either so be careful if you make the trip. You might consider a visit to the recently reopened Griffith Park Observatory above Hollywood on Vermont canyon for another good viewing point. Good luck!

Reply:It's off Hwy 138, not the 14. That may be why you can't find it.

Reply:Take the 5 North to the 14 North towards Palmdale. Before you reach Palmade you will see the 138 Highway entrance(Pearblossom) and turn right into the highway going East.
