I want to be able to eat and pick the pears what can I spray with to keep the bees and other pests away from the tree?
I have a pear tree that attracts a million bees each year what can I spray with so I can still eat the pears?
You need bees to pollinate the blossoms, or you won't have fruit. At harvest time you might have yellow jackets going after some rotten fruit
Check with your country agent, in many areas there are heavy fines for killing honey bees. Esp with the current decline
Reply:if you discourage the bees from pollinating the Pear blossoms, you WILL NOT GET PEARS!
Leave the bees to do what they do.. you stay away from the pear while they are doing it and no one gets hurt!
bees are essential- leave them alone!!!!!
Reply:those are honey bees and they might be pollinating it. you wont have pears without them.
