how tall, how wide, ect.
A Cleveland select flowering Pear tree, can someone tell there personal experience with this tree?
A mature tree can be 30' or more, both in height and width. The wood is brittle though and they are susceptible to wind and ice/ heavy snow damage.
Reply:You got your info below.. but I'd like to add:
It has great flowers in the spring and a terrific red fall color. Great choice!
Reply:Hi:
I have Cleveland Pears in my geographic location. The Cleveland Pear is becoming a popular tree for front yards, and for its spring time beauty. It is related to the Bradford Pear but is more sturdy of a tree. In spring, beautiful flowers appear. The Cleveland is a deciduous tree and does well to be pruned back in the fall. It will mature thirty to thirty five feet. It is a great plant specimen also for the side of a home or in the backyard as an accent in a garden or landscape.
I will link you to the gallery of plants section of my website. There is a page that has some information of this tree specimen. I will also link you to the site map, as this page has everything that is on the website. Browse through and see if you can find any other information that may be helpful to you in your outdoor area. Have a great day!
