I'm a UK size 16 (feel most comfortable in XL sizes) and I'm 5 feet 7 inches. Starting a new job soon and want to make my wardrobe look more fashionable and hopefully, more feminine as I wear trousers almost all the time!
I'm pear shaped and heavy. What would you recommend for flattering office wear?
Empire wasted dresses and jackets look elegant and conceal large hips. It also flatters your breasts. The rule of thumb is to never wear anything too snug. Try a-line skirts as well because it can give you a more proportioned look. Good luck!
Reply:We are aprx same size. For leaner look I go with a classic black skirt and black turtle neck - and thrown on a royal blue, or red blazer on top and add a scarf or pin as an accent bringing focus up.
