After a bradford pear tree has been in full bloom and it is hit by a hard frost, will it be ok?

the tree is ok, but at best the pear harvest will be diminished, and probably won't bear fruit at all this season.

It will kill the blossoms but not the tree.
Reply:your tree will be fine this happens every so often it is not dead it just knocked back the new growth it will come back
Reply:It won't hurt the tree but it will probably kill this years fruit.
Reply:the best thing that could happen is for that thing to die. bradfords not only have the awful stench but their growing habit causes them to damage very easily in wind and storm. a great alternative is cleveland select pear which does the same as a bradford but structurally is much stronger
