Why is pear juice not common?

I think because it's not a year-round fruit plus the yield is not as big when compared to apples %26amp; oranges.

Besides, you don't often hear people talk about the health benefits of pear. As a child, I learned that oranges are good for us because of their Vitamin C %26amp; eating apples will help to keep the doctor away...
Why is pear juice not common?
I see pear juice in the market all the time. It's not so mainstream but I can usually find some.

People drink more apple juice. Maybe most have not even tried pear juice. Companies market what sells more.
Reply:i think they do have it in Gr stores i got it before not sure why they don't have it as much but i like it i use to drink the juice from the cans of pears mm-mm
Reply:I can't understand it either, it's delicious. I used to get it from this corner shop that specialised in beans, pulses etc. and the owners were quite hippy-ish. The pear juice was in long, thin, square (with rounded corners) cardboard containers and aluminium ends, which were difficult to open.

Lovely once opened though. It was imported from Germany
Reply:There is no such thing as pear juice. There's pear nectar. You could get it at any grocery store that sells GOYA products.
Reply:That's a good question. I love pears. I would like to have pear juice.
Reply:cus it just eating raw
Reply:they sell it for babies, i remeber giving it to both my kids when they were younger. i liked it too. maybe you can find it in natural food stores.
