I need to buy Nopales or the pads or paddles from a prickly pear cactus. I am in Minnesota and they don't have many things like that around here. Please point me in a direction to find some, if you know!

I would suggest a Mexican food supplier. Do a search of Mexican Food Ingredients in Dallas, Texas. I think you'll find it's not that hard to have some shipped directly to you.
Reply:If you use them often, you can easily grow your own in pots or a planter. The cacti are very hardy and so easy to grow. If it is just a one time use, you may be able to substitute green tomatoes as the taste is very similar.
