Is a pear tree ok to burn in a wood stove?

As long as it's seasoned it's OK to burn pear tree wood in a woodstove, but best is in a fireplace because it smells really nice, same as apple wood.

You could try a small piece of it and see how it burns. I guess they burn better if they've had time to dry out some.
Reply:Any fruit wood is good to burn.
Reply:i think so, but you might want to try selling it to someone who does woodwork or woodcarving. Pear wood is good wood.
