Should a prickly pear be refrigerator?
~*~They can be stored more than one month at 68 F (20 C), it the stem tissue has not been damaged at harvest.
Reply:yes. slice em up and refrigerate them they stay good for like a week and a half.
Reply:You can probably let it ripen on your counter then I would chill it in the refregerator, it all depends on what you like, I prefer my fruit chilled.
Reply:Yes they can be refrigerated. Especially if you want to eat them cold.
Reply:From what i can gather no you do not need to refridgerate it but you do need to consume it before it ferments .
