How do i get rid of prickly pear cactus?

I would think just dig them up, unless you have a vast amount, in which case you will probably need some "Roundup" type of vegetation killer. If you chop them up they will root and you'll get more.



I imagine you know to be real careful about the spikes. They are quite rude.

I would advertize in a free newspaper and see what happens-- they have to dig them up-- and don't give them away-!!- they'll wonder what's wrong with them--

You on the other hand-- are just changing your yard/garden...........
