Being a fellow pear-shaped woman with similar features (thighs, butt, etc) who loves jeans, I can recommend a style but not a particular brand. Up until a year ago, I had always worn medium wash bootcut jeans that had a pretty generous flare at the bottom and didn't realize how misshapen they made my body look...oddly curved to say the least. After watching "What Not to Wear" on TLC one night, I tried on a pair of dark wash, straight leg jeans that had just a tiny flare at the bottom. What a difference! I looked leaner and more proportioned but my curves were alive and well. I'd highly recommend you look into finding jeans along those lines.
Reply:Guess jeans are very good, but very expensive, dont have any embellishment around the hips though, and make sure to get them in a dark wash!
Reply:Your probably out of luck with a ugly bum like that. But if your were black some apple bottoms would fit you nicely. I might even would take a peek.
Reply:Sister, I am right there with you...seriously! The best jeans I have found are BKE and Lucky. Expensive? Yes. But I know what you feel. Before you go to buy these jeans at a retail store, get you EXACT measurements and look on eBay. Also, with that shape, you want your jeans to be a little longer, not so long that they are bunched at the bottoms, but long enough to where when you sit, there is no ankle/sock showing. Here is a tip: buy some low-rise, body shaper Panty hose. You can get them in the full stocking length or cut off at your ankles. They also make them as a short-type style. Trust me on this one. I am 31 and have tried everything. Even starvation. I can get real skinny, but once a pear, always a pear unfortunately.
