Pear trees no blossom last two years why?
Overfertilizing with nitrogen, a lack of sun or improper pruning may cause a lack of blooming.
Reply:A pear and apple tree will rest a year if you work it to hard. If you thin the crop so it isn't under such stress you can help stop it from wanting it to rest.

A peach tree will not do this rest a year thing.
Reply:They are very prone to frost %26amp; freeze. If you had an early freeze in the late fall or a late frost this spring, that'll do it. They are especially prone to temp. extremes if they are hybrids. Also may be possible that deer have eaten the buds?
