I'm very short but am pear shaped what type of clothes should I wear?

I know. I am a pear too! Never wear patterns or light colours on your bottom half. Go for black/navy/brown pants. If you have short legs (proportionally), go for a widelegged pant. Skinny pants just accentate your small height. You can wear brighter colours and patterns on your top to draw eyes upward and enhance your breast size (you can also use ruching and other tectures over your bust for this too). If you have a short waist, wear a longer top to elongate your body. A line skirts are good too. Don't wear an ultra minnie, or a long skirt. Go for knee length or just above. You have a waist, so show it off by wearing tops fitted at the waist. Don't wear baggy shirts, because they will make you look thick. Hope this helps.

Too easy... Darker colors on bottom and patterns or scoops on top.
Reply:Okay, when you have a pear shape you can:

Draw attention away from your lower half by doing as Beyonce does and wearing colorful, sparkly, striped, or patterned tops. Accessories like earrings, necklaces, pins, hats and scarves will also draw eyes upwards. When it comes to bottoms, stick to dark colors (they have a slimming effect), A-line skirts and low-rise, boot-cut jeans. And as for shoes, heels can make your legs look longer and leaner, and knee-high boots will cover up your legs if that's what you want.

And stay away from:

Short, tight skirts

Pants with side pockets

Tapered hems

High-waisted pants and jeans

And for style advice, look towards Beyonce and J.Lo. They are pear shaped and know how to dress to flatter theres, and yours, figure.

hope This helped!!!
Reply:you probably are not pear shaped at all- if you have a big bust too (ie perfect curvy figure) then embrace the pear! If you have massive hips and no bust then A-line stuff is always good. there is a programme in the UK called "what not to wear" and "trinny and susannah" im sure they have websites on what you should wear x
Reply:cothles that flatter your body type
Reply:Play to your strength; lots and lots of cleavage will bring the eye up and away from your weaknesses
Reply:A pair shape is quite easy to dress, if you focus on a narrow waist line and emphasize the top half of the body. Stick with simple style on the bottom, a line skirt, straight or flared leg pants. Never wear anything tapered fitting on the bottom or you get the dreaded ice cream cone shape. Never wear anything that ends at the widest part of the body, such as t-shirts, sweat shirts or tunics. It's a common pear shape mistake. It doesn't hide anything, it emphasizes things. Do end tops and jackets a bit above the widest part or below the wide part.

And with so little attention on the bottoms, have fun with your tops. Do emphasize the top half, draw attention up to your face and dazzle everyone with a confident smile. Emphasize the waist line and use V necks draw the eyes along vertical lines. Adding embellishments to necklines also adds to the top half. Have fun with collars of all shapes and different shoulder treatments on any tops you wear. And in spite of everything you've heard about shoulder pads, thin light pads in your coats and jackets might provide a bit of visual balance between the top and bottom. Pear shapes look better with a bit of shoulder emphasis. Don't go all Dynasty 1980's, just a single layer pad will help. A jacket with shoulder detailing and an A-line skirt will give you an hourglass shape and look quite nice.
Reply:i think you should try clothes that are striped vertically, because it'll make you look thinner and longer. clothes in dark colors might make you look thinner, too.
