Take your chest, waist and hips measurements. A person who has the hourglass figure will see a similar measurement for the chest and hips and one that is quite a few inches smaller for the waist. A person who has a pear shape will have the smallest number be the waist but the hips will be much larger than the chest. A person who has the apple shape will have a close measurement for the chest and hips but the waist will be larger than the chest and the hips.
