I am a full figured, pear shaped woman looking for a dress style to wear to my wedding reception.?

I haven't seen my family for 2 years, and am bringing home my new husband, who my extended family has not met. I want to look ravishing, and am living in China, where I can get anything made, but I am wondering what style would best suit my figure, and the occassion. It is difficult to make a decision for me, when the mannequins are size 0

I would go for something with an a-line or full skirt with a fitted waist (I assume this is the smallest part of your body so emphasize it!)...pick a solid color that flatters you - and usually darker colors are flattering.

If you feel do not comfortable going sleeveless, get wide straps or get sleeves at least to your elbows (cap sleeves make you look bigger). I think a sheer cardigan over a sleeveless or strapless a-line skirt will do the trick!!

Now for the shoes and bag... ;-)
