Tired of pear shape, exercises recommended?
You can't really change your natural shape (without cosmetic surgery). You can give the impression of more bulk on the upper body by working out with weights, but unless you are going into competitive body building, you are not suddenly going to change your figure dramtically.
If it makes you feel any better, I'm pear shape too, measurements 35-27-39. You should be happy with what you have, being pear shaped is actually considered very healthy, because your hip/waist ratio is lower and most guys would find it very attractive and feminine.

Reply:try thigh and butt work out tapes and pilates. but you're probably going to have to put up with it.
your a woman, and you have curves. Be proud of them.
Reply:Id describe myself as pear shaped and I find that using a step machine for about 20 mins 3 times a wk really keeps my bottom and legs toned. After this I do a repitition of squats then use a gym bench to do stretching exercises for my calfs and thighs. Even simple things like walking up and down stairs or around a park will do wonders if you do it regularly.
