Hi Melody.

Try the old scrape back the bark trick. Take a branch and carefully scrape back a bit of the tip with a sharp knife (not the central leader branch that points up).

If the bark is soft and green and whitish underneath then it's probably fine. If not keep scraping until you find a healthy bit. If it's all brown and dry, then it's gone to the great orchard in the sky I'm afraid, but it is a bit early so don't give up hope yet.

Hope you have ever success.
Reply:All of our apple trees have produced leaves, I rather suspect that your apple tree has died.

Pull off a few buds - are they nice and green inside or brown and dry? If brown %26amp; dry they're dead. If green they're alive and perhaps your tree will evntually sprout.
Reply:Your location would be helpful in determining wethr the trees should be leafing out yet.
